Welcome and thank you for visiting the website of Scottish Celebrations. My name is David Courtney, an authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant, specialising in performing weddings with a unique Scottish flavour.

From the moment I bid you and your guests Ceud Mile Failte (A hundred thousand welcomes) until closing the ceremony with an ancient gaelic blessing, I will strive to provide a solemn occasion combined with dignity, warmth and gentle Scottish humour to make you feel comfortable and at ease.

I will perform your ceremony wearing a kilt of the Ancient Hunting Fraser tartan, the Clan tartan of my ancestors, together with an Argyll jacket or, should you prefer a more casual approach, the kilt and either a white or black highlander shirt. Behind the wedding party the flags of Australia and Scotland can be displayed.

To compliment the occasion I can recommend a suitable Scottish bagpiper or the services of aScottish harper, and can supply a CD of suitable Scottish music to be played at appropriate times.
