About Scottish Celebrations

There’s an old Scottish saying, “Hame is where the heart is”......Despite having adopted Australia as home more than 30 years ago, Scotland runs through my veins, and I retain a love for this ancient nation, her people, culture, history, music, traditions and customs.

Born, raised and educated there (my first school was in Portree on the Isle of Skye where I was taught in Gaelic), Scotland is my spiritual home. I own property in the north of the country and I hold the honorary title of Laird of Lochaber.

And I’m told that I still have a bit of an accent!!

And so I want to put all of this to good use and ensure that, if you want a “Scottish” ceremony, you’ll get one delivered with credibility by a genuine Scot !

With a business background and an experienced public speaker, I present myself as a confident, articulate and personable celebrant. I am a member of the Australian Marriage Celebrants inc, have professional and public liability insurance, and will provide a PA system where necessary. I am available to meet you on a no-obligation basis.
